By the numbers, Kewanee Police had 1,788 calls for service in November. There were 451 calls to 911 last month. Kewanee Police Officers made 181 traffic stops and issued 41 traffic citations. There was one arrest in November on a City Ordinance Violation. 16 Misdemeanor arrests were made in November and 6 felony arrests of a total number of 23 arrests overall for the month. The overall number of total arrests was down significantly from October when Kewanee Police made 44 arrests, including 17 felony arrests. Overall Police activity in November was also from 1,878 calls for service to 1,788.
