The Kewanee Police Department have announced the arrest of a Tiskilwa man on charges that he exposed himself to minors. According to the Kewanee Police Department, 56 year old Daniel Carson was in a white Ford 4 door sedan parked in the 600 block of East 1st Street on September 18th. Two juvenile females were on the sidewalk of that street and as they passed the vehicle, it is alleged that Carlson exposed himself to them. The two juveniles immediately reported what happened to an adult who contacted the Kewanee Police Department. Kewanee Police located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop and from there took Carlson into custody.
Subsequent to the investigation, it was learned that Carlson had previously been arrested in Princeton, Illinois in 1999 on a similar charge. Based on this, the Kewanee Police Department are asking anyone if they have had an encounter with Daniel Carlson. He’s described as a white male with long white hair and a long white beard, driving a white Ford 4 door Sedan, If you have had an encounter with Carlson that you didn’t report to Police for whatever reason, the Kewanee Police would like you to come forward now and tell your story. Based on his current arrest, Carlson is facing one count of Public Indecency, This charge is a Class A misdemeanor and carries a potential sentence of up to 364 days in jail and a fine of up to $2,500.00 in addition to mandatory court assessments.
