The Kewanee Rotary community pool day at the pool in Northeast Park is rescheduled to August 3, 2023, after the pool had to close on Saturday for unexpected cleaning. Admission to the pool will be free from Noon to 6 PM on August 3rd and Park staff will be on hand for safety. Park District Executive Director, Andrew Dwyer, said he is excited about the event. “The Park District is proud to partner again with Kewanee Rotary to create a great start to a fun day we have planned for our community.”
The popular dog swim is on Sunday, August 6th, from 3 to 6 PM. The Kewanee Park District hosts the annual doggie paddle at the end of the season before the pool is drained for the year. The Park District requests that dogs be leashed.
