The Kewanee soccer team led by four goals from Cristian Cazares defeated Abingdon on Thursday, 7 to 3. Results and recap from Jose Bermudez…

It happened again, Kewanee Boilermakers paid a visit in a soccer match in Abington/Avon high school.
The local team started very strong, they even looked fast, for a good 10 minutes the Boilermakers looked like they couldn’t do much, but Kewanee players started talking more and communicating, the game started inclining in Kewanee’s favor, A-T0wn scored first, but Kewanee scored next for four times, the Boilers started to look very strong, and Cristian Cazares started scoring adding goals to his personal record, four more goals in his personal account, where he needs 8 more goals to tie the Contreras record. To mention Cazares name and goals, we are not saying that he is the only great player, I can tell you about James Roginski, how he leads the team and how he fights for the ball and recovers it making the whole team play better. I can tell you about Jack Coombes how strong he plays and leads the whole defense to stop the rival. I can tell you about Tyson how much he runs to attack and defend, Tony Moran etc, every single player apports something good our goalie dillon price too.
At the end, the boilermakers brought home another victory: Kewanee 7-3 Abington.

The jv team won their match 6-0 with goals of: Jackson Price 3, Isidro Martinez 1, William Ly 1 and Jesus del Toro 1.
