Kewanee VFW Post 8078 is gearing up for its 3rd Annual Hot Dog Poppy Fundraiser on Saturday, May 18th, from 11 am to 2 pm. Community members are invited to enjoy a quarter-pound all-beef hot dog, alongside chips, a drink, and a homemade dessert. The event offers both curbside service and dine-in options at the VFW headquarters. Each meal comes with a commemorative poppy, symbolizing remembrance and support for veterans. All proceeds from the event will benefit the VFW Post 8078 and Auxiliary Programs, supporting their ongoing efforts in veteran assistance and community services.
