The Zoning Board of Appeals will meet in at 5:00 PM, Wednesday September 20, 2023. The meeting will be held in the Council Chambers at Kewanee City Hall, 401 East Third Street. There are two variance petitions upon which a hearing will be conducted. They are discussed below.
1: 801 Elmwood Ave., Dan Stollenwerk, Requesting a variance of 2 feet to the maximum allowable height of 6 feet for a fence in a R-2 District.
2: 311 Fifth Ave., James Wiggin, Requesting a variance of 6 feet 6 inches to the maximum allowable height of 18 feet AND 2 feet to the required 5 feet rear yard setback for an accessory structure in a R-4 District.
