On 2/19/2023 at 6:24 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle car Vs deer accident with no injuries in the area of E 22ndRD & N 15th RD. (Otter Creek TWP) Kort Davies (25) of Streator was driving north on E 22nd RD when a deer ran onto the roadway. He was unable to avoid the deer and struck it with the front end of his vehicle.
On 2/19/2023 at 7:35 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle car Vs deer accident with no injuries in the area of RT 71 & E 25th RD. (Miller TWP) Joaquina Gutierrez (63) of Ottawa was driving south on RT 71 when a deer ran onto the roadway. She was unable to avoid the deer and struck it with the front end of her vehicle.
