A recent graduate from Galva has graduated from the Army Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training (A.I.T). Lexi Stone is a 2023 graduate of Galva High School. Lexi was in the top five best physical training scores in basic training. Lexi attended 22 weeks of A.I.T in Fort Moore Georgia and graduated with training as a 19 Delta Calvary Scout. According to the U.S. Army, The cavalry scout leads, serves, or assists as a member of the scout crew, squad, section, or platoon in reconnaissance, security, cordon/search, and other combat operations. Lexi was awarded the Army Achievement Medal for outstanding achievement for her hard work, dedication to duty, professionalism, and selfless service. Her hard work contributed to the successful accomplishment of her unit’s mission. Levi Stone’s actions keep with the finest traditions of military service and reflect greatly upon herself and her team. Lexi Stone was also awarded the Army Values Award. Lexi Stone was promoted to Private First Class on November 8, 2023, at Fort Moore Georgia. Lexi will advance toward the Army Airborne Training at Fort Moore Georgia.
