There will be a celebration of the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday, January 15th at the Kewanee Public Library. Presented by the Library and Ameri-Corps volunteers will get underway at 10:30 AM and continue until 12:30 PM. Children of all ages are invited to take part in the event with come and go activities, refreshments, and the chance to learn about the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Etta LaFlora Executive Director of Sunshine Community Services tells WKEI in inviting kids across the area of the library “Come and learn about Dr. King’s values of courage, truth and justice.”
