    IMPACTS
    The dangerously cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in 30 minutes or less. Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures.
    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
    Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves. Keep pets indoors as much as possible. Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills inside.

Moline Police Investigating a Suspected Homicide

In a shocking turn of events, the Moline Police Department were called to the scene of a suspected homicide. A deceased female was discovered in a parked car, outside an apartment on 25th Street, Moline. Authorities received the report around 11:44 AM on February 7, 2024. A person of interest is currently in police custody. It’s been determined that this is not a random act of violence and that the incident presents no further danger to the public. The Criminal Investigation Division is on the case. Information related to this incident can be reported to Crime Stoppers of the Quad Cities or directly to the Moline Police Department.
