A man in a mask carrying a large bag robbed a Moline bank early on Monday, May 1st, 2023. The bank robbery was reported at approximately 9 AM. According to the Moline Police Department, an emergency call was received from the Chase Bank location at 5o1 15th Street in Moline. According to the emergency call, a man had entered the bank and displayed a handgun before demanding that money be placed in a large bag he was carrying with him. From the Moline Police Department:
The suspect is described as a male, approximately 5’10’ tall, medium build, with a blue sweatshirt with a green reflective vest, dark pants and wearing black Nike tennis shoes with white soles. The suspect was wearing a rubber mask that made his face appear to be an old man. The suspect fled on foot, west on 5th Avenue and possibly got into a black SUV near 13th Street.
