Moline Police Seeking Public Input for Tier 2 Accreditation

SHARE NOW

The Moline Police Department is advancing its quest for Tier Two accreditation and is calling upon community members to voice their experiences and opinions. As the department seeks this elevated status, they will undergo a thorough evaluation by the Illinois Law Enforcement Accreditation Program (ILEAP) from June 16th to 18th. This examination involves scrutinizing the department’s adherence to 181 key standards across various areas including operations and training. Community input is crucial and residents are encouraged to share their feedback on June 17, between 12:00 and 1:30 PM, by calling 309-524-2113. Feedback can also be submitted via email at [email protected]. This process not only assesses the department’s qualifications for accreditation but also ensures transparency and community engagement in law enforcement practices.
