The Neponset American Legion Post #875 is hosting a chili supper, raffle and 50/50 drawing on Saturday, December 10, 2022, beginning at 8:30 AM. The restored cannon will arrive at the Neponset Community Building at 8:30 AM. Coffee will be served all day. From 4 to 6 PM, enjoy a chili supper from Chef Todd from The Downtown Eatery & Bakery. Call Gary Miller at 309-761-8780 to reserve your chili supper. The chili meal includes: Chili bowl, salad, cornbread, desert and beverage. Dine-in and carry-out are available. There is no cost for the Chili Supper but donations are appreciated. The Sportsman Raffle and 50/50 winners will be announced at 5 PM.
Five people will win from the Sportsman Raffle package drawn at 5 PM and you need not be present to win. Tickets are $10 each or three for $20. A valid FOID is required to transfer ownership of the guns.
