One Person is Dead and One Person is Injured from Shooting in Moline

Moline Police are investigating a shooting that left a 55-year-old man dead and a female injured inside a house in the 900 block of 40th Street in Moline.  Around 10:11 AM on March 30th, the Moline Police Department received a 911 call about a possible shooting at a house on 40th Street.  The first Officers on scene heard someone inside the residence calling out for help so Officers forced entry into the house.  According to Police, Officers found a 35-year-old female with gunshot wounds to her legs and a 55-year-old male deceased from an apparent gunshot wound, both were occupants of the residence.  The female was transported to a local hospital where she remains in serious condition.

The shooting is under investigation by the Moline Police Department Investigations Division and there is no danger to the public.  Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers of the Quad Cities at 309-762-9500 or the Moline Police Department at 309-797-0401.
