OSF Saint Clare Tree of Lights Program Underway

The annual Tree of Lights Program at OSF Saint Clare Medical Center in Princeton is back for 2022. Now, through the holiday season, The Tree of Lights Program offers the chance to help raise funds for causes that support the Hospital. Since 1990, more than $115,000 has been raised and donated to the hospital for needed equipment. This year, the Tree of Lights campaign has pledged to purchase a SCOPE BUDDY™ endoscope flushing aid, an integral piece of equipment for the special procedures team. Safety and infection prevention is a top priority at OSF Saint Clare, and the SCOPE BUDDY™ creates a consistent, reliable and safe means to flush endoscope channels. It provides enhanced data monitoring, increased cleaning consistency and decreased risk of cross-contamination.

Amy Wright, RN, BSN, said the equipment is effective in bacteria removal. “Adding a reliable mechanical flushing procedure provides another safeguard to protect our patients.” The stars will shine on the tree at OSF Saint Clare Medical Center when you purchase a Silver Star for $10.00 in honor of your loved one or a Gold Star for $100.00. All proceeds support the hospital in the ongoing effort of caring for those in need in the community.

Donations can be mailed or dropped off to OSF Saint Clare in the gift shop when open or at the registration desks near the Emergency Department entrance. Checks can be made payable to OSF HealthCare Foundation.
