PC’s for People Event Coming to Kewanee in August

A non-profit that helps get computers into the hands of those in need is coming to Kewanee. The City of Kewanee has announced that PC’s for People will hold an event in Kewanee on August 22nd at the Kewanee Public Library and sponsored by the library and Black Hawk College. Founded in 1998, PC’s for People provides refurbished computers to people who qualify along with helping people find low income broadband access so that they can use their new device. You can find out if you qualify to receive one of these refurbished PC’s by following this link to the event. No other details regarding this event have been announced yet, only the date and how to register. You must register and see if you qualify before you can participate.
