A Peoria hospital worker, an employee of OSF Hospital in Peoria, has been charged with 55 counts of Unlawful Recording. According to Peoria County State’s Attorney Jodi Hoos, Henry Chang was charged for hiding a video camera in an employee bathroom at OSF Hospital. Further investigation has revealed that Chang set up cameras in two different employee bathrooms and had been recording individuals using the bathrooms for over a month. Investigators located more than 100 recordings of victims on Chang’s computer. With the new charges, a warrant has been issued for Chang’s arrest in the amount of $115,000 dollars. Law enforcement is working with OSF Hospital and Staff to identify victims in the case and more charges may be coming against Chang. Unlawful Recording is a Class 4 Penalty that generally carries a sentence of 1 to 3 years in prison plus fines.
