A 13-year-old boy in Peoria, Illinois has been charged with Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Unlawful Possession of a Stolen Firearm, and Burglary. The minor allegedly brought a loaded gun, reported stolen earlier this month, to Dunlap Valley Middle School multiple times. The student admitted to ‘showing off’ the weapon but had no plan to commit a school shooting. The investigation is still ongoing.
