On Tuesday, the Peoria County State’s Attorney announced that 53 year old Cathy A. Logan, aka ‘Tweety Bird, had been indicted in the stabbing death of 26 year old Tanazisha Green. The stabbing occurred at a Phillips 66 location on Western Avenue in Peoria on August 10th. Green was found stabbed inside the location and while she was conscious when first responders arrived her condition worsened quickly and Green passed away at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center that night. In the course of the investigation, Cathy A. Logan was identified as a person of interest and was subsequently located hiding inside of a home in the 900 block of South Warren Street. Logan is now in custody at the Peoria County Jail.
