The Wanee Cinemas is bringing one of the most popular, viral horror movies to town beginning on Friday, January 20th. M3GAN, starring Allison Williams, tells the story of a robot built to look like a little girl. M3gan was built to be the best friend of a girl who lost her parents. Unfortunately, M3GAN becomes so attached to her new best friend that she will do anything, including murder, to protect her. M3GAN debuted to more than $18 million dollars at the box office nationwide last weekend based on incredible popularity online with horror movie fans.
A young actress Amie Donald plays the popular robot doll and it was Donald’s dancing that made the movie a viral sensation. The film’s trailer features a terrific dance sequence that became a huge hit on Tik-Tok and YouTube. Since then, Donald has brought the M3GAN dance to the Jimmy Fallon Show and has been making the Talk Show rounds as the movie’s box office has been growing exponentially since its release.
