In a tragic turn of events, a 53-year-old man succumbed to his injuries after a UTV accident in Port Byron. The Rock Island County Sheriff’s Office reports that deputies were dispatched to a home on 9th Avenue late Friday evening, where they found the man pinned under an overturned UTV. Despite attempts to perform life-saving measures, the man lost his life. His identity remains undisclosed. Additionally, two other men sustained minor injuries during the incident.
