Representative Travis Weaver and Senator Neil Anderson announced at their joint event Wednesday night that they plan to open an office in Kewanee.  A large crowd gathered at the Kewanee Public Library to meet State Legislators for Kewanee and ask questions.  Representative Weaver told RegionalMediaNews that the office will be in the Train Depot and the plan is to open the office this Fall.  Rep Weaver and Senator Anderson are finalizing the contract with the City of Kewanee.  Representative Weaver said they are opening an office in Kewanee because “Kewanee is the second biggest city in my district and it’s a priority for me to have a presence so I can best serve its citizens”.  We have reached out to Senator Anderson’s office for a comment.
