The Republican candidate for Congress in the 17th District in Illinois, Esther Joy King, is on the campaign trail. On this Friday, King is in Macomb and on Sunday, King will be in Kewanee for a rally at Cerno’s. King will be holding a get out the vote rally in Kewanee beginning at 7 PM at Cerno’s. We spoke to King on Friday on Wake Up Tri-Counties where she talked about her recent and upcoming campaign stops, her background, which has been the subject of political attack, and how she might reach across the aisle if elected to Congress.
