Reward Increased in Corey Harrell Jr Murder Investigation

Crimestoppers of the Quad Cities has announced an enhanced reward for information leads to the arrest of whoever killed Corey Harrell Jr on October 31st, 2018. It’s been four years since Corey Harrell Jr. was shot and killed while driving a vehicle in front of Moline City Hall. Currently, three people are being sought as ‘Persons of Interest’ in the investigation. They are Alonzo Cole, Age 24; Thomas Elijah-Hughes, Age 22; Preston Orr, Age 26.

Crimestoppers, as always, is offering a maximum award of $2,500.oo for tips that lead directly to the arrest of a suspect. On Monday, Crimestoppers announced that an additional $17,500.00 has been raised to bring the total award for tips leading to an arrest is $20,000.00. If you have information that may lead to an arrest in the killing of Corey Harrell Jr. contact Crimestoppers of the Quad Cities at 309-762-9500. A memorial walk was held for Cory Harrell Jr. in Moline on Monday evening and brought together family, friends and supporters to remember Corey Harrell Jr. four years after his murder.
