A Rock Island man is in jail for burglary and assaulting a Police Officer in Kewanee Sunday night. On September 3, 2023, the Kewanee Police Department received a report of a male subject breaking a front window at Reiman’s Harley Davidson on North Main Street. The suspect left out the back door of the business and encountered a patrol officer in the alley.
