The City of Kewanee announced on Monday, October 9th, that sewer repairs will close a portion of Williams Street in Kewanee beginning on Tuesday, October 10th. According to the City of Kewanee, Williams Street from S. Vine Street to Ridyard Avenue will be the portion of Williams that is closed to through traffic while sewer repairs are completed. People living in this area will still have access to their homes but through traffic for non-residents of this portion of Williams Street is prohibited until repairs are complete. There is no announced time frame for when the repairs will be completed.
