One person was injured in a shooting at an apartment complex in Bettendorf, Iowa, on January 4, 2023. Around 8 PM on Wednesday, Bettendorf Police responded to an apartment complex in the 3400 block of Towne Point Drive for a report of a person being shot. Officers located a 20-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound and began providing medical attention. The victim was transported to a local hospital with what appears to be a non-life-threatening injury. No other injuries were reported and this appears to be an isolated incident and the public is not at risk.
