Sorensen Reelected to Represent Illinois’ 17th District in Congress

Eric Sorensen has been reelected to represent the 17th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. Facing off against retired judge and Republican candidate Joe McGraw, Sorensen, a Democrat, secured his position with a substantial lead. With 88% of votes counted, Sorensen garnered 155,698 votes, while McGraw trailed with 133,991 votes.

The election results were confirmed early Wednesday morning, marking a significant win for Sorensen as he continues his legislative work in Congress.
