Friday, April 7th and Saturday, April 8th, 2023 are the dates for the Tag Days fundraiser for Kewanee’s Step Ladder Tutoring. With volunteers via Americorp, Step Ladder Tutoring provides tutoring services for Kewanee 7th and 8th Grade students aimed at helping these students become responsible for their own education and improve their attitude toward school and learning. Supporting Tag Days is the best way for you to help insure that Step Ladder Tutoring can continue to help with the growth in education among students in need in Kewanee.
Volunteers from Step Ladder Tutoring will be at the Kewanee Wal Mart and Save A Lot in Kewanee from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April7th and on Saturday, April 8th. Etta LaFlora with Step Ladder Tutoring tells WKEI :The schools have done a great job in working with us as we assist students in our program. We try to encourage students by letting them know their future is in their hands, and they can follow a path that leads to a better life.”
