As we reported last week, The Wanee Theater was weighing the idea of bringing Taylor Swift The Eras Tour movie to Kewanee. In a post on their social media, the owners of the Wanee Cinemas asked fans if they’d be willing to pay $19.87 per ticket just to see Taylor Swift on the big screen and the answer was yes. 52% of respondents to the poll stated that they would pay the price to see Taylor on the big screen with an additional 4% stating that they would see it, if only to support the Wanee Theater. 42% of respondents said no, and Taylor Who? But the no’s lost. Taylor Swift The Eras Tour will debut on Friday, October 13th double billed with the hit horror film The Nun which will start its Wanee Theater run on Friday the 13th as well.
