The 56-year-old man from Tilkilwa that was issued a Notice to Appear for Public Indecency on September 18, 2023, after he exposed himself to two female juveniles, is in the Henry County Jail for Possession of Child Pornography as part of the initial investigation. Daniel Carlson was arrested on October 6th by the Kewanee Police Department for events stemming from the September 18th incident. Detectives believed Carlson had incriminating evidence on two of his cell phones. A search warrant was obtained and executed for the two cell phones and Detectives located a video on the phone of the acts committed on September 18th. Detectives also located several images of child pornography. Carlson was transported to the Henry County Jail on Preliminary charges of ten counts of Possession of Child Pornography (Class 2 Felony). A Class 2 Felony carries a possible sentence of 3-7 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.
