    Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.
    ADDITIONAL DETAILS
    Heat impacts will be worsened by several consecutive days of sweltering temperatures. Additionally, there will be little relief overnight with near record warm lows forecast in the mid to upper 70s.
    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
    Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an emergency! Call 9 1 1.

If you haven’t had a chance to see Barbie, tonight’s 7 PM show is the final chance to see it at the Wanee Cinemas. Starting on Friday, the Wanee Cinemas is welcoming the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to Kewanee. The hit animated movie, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem, featuring the voices of Jackie Chan, Paul Rudd, Ice Cube, and Seth Rogen, has earned raves from critics with a 97% positive rating from RottenTomatoes.com and the film has earned more than 100 Million dollars at the box office.

Meanwhile, Oppenheimer, Christopher Nolan’s extraordinary take on the history of the Atomic Bomb through the eyes of the man credited with building it, will stay on for another week. Oppenheimer is a phenomenon in its own right. The film has earned more than $664 million dollars and is now being viewed by industry experts as a frontrunner for the Academy Awards.
