Current Kewanee City Council members Chris Colomer and Mike Komnick were re-elected to the Kewanee City Council on Tuesday night. The sitting council members easily held off the challenge of Scott Withrow with Mike Komnick receiving 610 votes, Chris Colomer receiving 568 votes and Mr. Withrow earning 227 votes. Mike Komnick will be our guest on Wake Up Tri-Counties on Wednesday, April 5th to discuss his re-election and his plans for his next term on the Kewanee City Council. Kewanee Mayor Gary Moore was unopposed for re-election as Kewanee Mayor.
In the race for two seats on the Kewanee Park District, Nichelle Morey and Michael Heberer earned election to the Kewanee Park Board.
