    Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them to drip slowly.

Two Kewanee Students Selected for All State Choir Honor

A pair of Kewanee students have been selected for the Illinois Music Educators Association All-State Choir. Laryn Conley and Alexander Hager were selected out of 100s of students across the state of Illinois for this honor overseen by the Illinois Music Educators Association. In addition, Hager was also selected for the ILMEA Honor Choir which is a smaller ensemble of the top few students in each of the Illinois music districts. Kewanee High School Choral Director Katie Yelm will travel with Laryn and Alexander to the Illinois Music Educators Conference in January of 2023 where they will be rehearsing and then performing with the All State Choir at the Peoria Civic Center on Saturday afternoon, January 28th, 2023.
