Two People in Custody and Charged with Attempted Murder for Town Pointe Shooting in Bettendorf

Two suspects are in custody and charged with Attempted Murder from the shooting that occurred on January 4, 2023, in the 3400 block of Town Pointe Drive in Bettendorf. Daniel T. Morgan, 32, was apprehended by the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office on January 6th regarding a warrant that had been issued for his arrest. He was extradited back to Iowa and is in custody of the Scott County Sheriff’s Office. Morgan is charged with Attempted Murder (Class B Felony), Felon in Possession of a Firearm (Class D Felony), Burglary 1st Degree (Class B Felony), Assault While Participating in a Felony (Class C Felony), Going Armed with Intent (Class D Felony), and Willful Injury Causing Serious Injury (Class C Felony). A Class B Felony is punishable by up to 25 years in prison. Attempted Murder requires 70% of the sentence be served if convicted. Andre A. Little, 27, was apprehended by the Bettendorf Police on January 9th during a traffic stop in Davenport. Little is charged with Attempted Murder (Class B Felony), Willful Injury Causing Serious Injury (Class C Felony), Burglary 1st Degree (Class B Felony), Assault While Participating in a Felony (Class C Felony), and Going Armed with Intent (Class D Felony). A Class B Felony is punishable by up to 25 years in prison. Attempted Murder requires 70% of the sentence be served if convicted.
