Bishop Hill gears up for a heartwarming weekend as the 15th annual Honor Flight Benefit kicks off with engaging activities all around town. Starting on June 14, H.WYATT invites the community to a unique pay-what-you-can treat, matching donations up to $300. Similarly, Krans Cafe and The Filling Station are following suit, offering special Honor Flight-themed eats with donation matches.

The main event unfolds on June 15 at the Colony School, with a pulled pork lunch, live bluegrass music, and a promising auction all set to raise funds for the Honor Flight of the Quad Cities. This initiative has heroically garnered over $160,000 to date, providing veterans a memorable journey to Washington, D.C. to honor their service. Don’t forget to bring items to donate at Prairie Arts Center for the live auction. For more details go to BishopHillHeritage.org.
