The Kewanee Salvation Army is ready for the summer with the announcement of their annual summer camps in a brand new location. Camp Wonderland in Salem Wisconsin is the new home of the Kewanee Salvation Army Summer Camps. We talked to Eddie Tolliver about the new location and he thanked the Kewanee Rotary for making it possible to transport campers to the incredible new camp this Summer. Kewanee Salvation Army Summer Camps, aside from one for the entire family, are free and they are free thanks to the generosity of Kewanee Rotary. Camps this year include Creative Arts Camp starting June 19th, Music Camp starting June 24th, Family Camp starting July 3rd, Outdoor Adventure Camp July 10th, and Kids Adventure Camp July 17th.
The Kewanee Salvation Army is holding a summer clothing giveaway. Eddie Tolliver tells WKEI that Wal Mart donated summer clothes to the Salvation Army last year and those close are now ready to be given away on May 24th between 1 PM and 4 PM. Medical card & I.D required.
