Galva Mayor Rich Volkert spoke with Wake Up Tri-Counties on Wednesday morning. The Mayor was on hand to wrap-up Monday’s Galva City Council Meeting. During the meeting, the City Council heard from Hometown Consulting about ways the City of Galva can expand and support local businesses. Plans were approved to sell a Police Interceptor that is no longer in use by the City. And, organizers of the Galva Freedom Fest talked about their fundraising efforts getting underway once again with strong community support.
