RaeAnn Tucker from the Henry and Stark County Health Department joined Wake Up Tri-Counties live from the Health Department’s 12 Communities in 12 Months event at the State Bank of Toulon in Toulon. The event is one of 12 stops in a planned series of events in 12 communities served by the Henry and Stark County Health Department. Today in Toulon the Health Department handed out free COVID-19 Test Kits, performed blood pressure checks and gave out information regarding Healthy Nutrition as part of National Nutrition Awareness Month. RaeAnn took a moment to talk with WKEI from the event to talk about the current COVID-19 numbers, which have held at around 48 new cases over the last few weeks. RaeAnn also discussed WIC and how it can help low income families struggling with the current inflation of food prices at the grocery store.
