The Kewanee City Council met on Monday night and on Tuesday, Mayor Gary Moore joined Wake Up Tri-Counties to talk about Monday’s meeting. In our conversation, the Mayor welcomed a new member to our Kewanee Police Department. Lauren Roof was sworn in on Monday evening during the Kewanee City Council Meeting. In new business, the Mayor discussed needed repairs at the North Water Treatment, as well as bids for sidewalk repair in the City, and new vehicles for both the Kewanee Police Department and the Kewanee Fire Department.
