On Friday, a major storm crashed through Kewanee and left damage in its wake. Among those hit hard by the storm were our Kewanee Parks. Northeast Park and Baker Park suffered significant damage to trees as well as facilities such as the Golf Course, the 19th Hole, and at Northeast Park, a baseball dugout area was destroyed and soccer goals were upturned and moved. Kewanee Park District Director Andrew Dwyer joined Wake Up Tri-Counties on Tuesday to talk about the extent of the damage and the work ahead to repair that damage.
