Kewanee School District Superintendent Dr. Chris Sullens joined Wake Up Tri-Counties to talk about Monday’s Kewanee School Board Meeting. Much of that meeting was taken up with honoring invited guests, specifically students who have had notable accomplishments over the last month. Members of the Group Interpretation Team, Key Club and Kewanee sports stars were on hand on Monday night to be recognized by the Kewanee School Board for their remarkable accomplishments. Also on Monday night, the school board approved the hiring of a new Kewanee High School basketball coach, Dayton Ince, and Dr. Sullens updated the board and us about ongoing projects at Kewanee Schools.
