Samantha Rux and Emma Corkill from OSF Saint Luke Medical Center were our guests on Wake Up Tri-Counties on Monday, March 6th, 2023. Emma is the newest Athletic Trainer at OSF Saint Luke Medical Center and is working with athletes at Kewanee High School. We talked to Emma about the work she does with High School Athletes during the season as well as before and after a season. What you see of an athletic trainer is barely half of what an Athletic Trainer does and Emma Corkill was kind enough to take us inside the work that goes into keeping athletes performing at their peak ability. March is National Athletic Training Month.
