    PRECAUTIONS

The Mayor of Kewanee, Gary Moore, was our guest on Wake Up Tri-Counties on Tuesday. The Mayor joined WKEI to discuss Monday’s Kewanee City Council Meeting. In our conversation the Mayor praised the ongoing work of the Kewanee Council on Human Relations who announced during Monday’s meetings plans for a celebration of Mexican heritage in September. The Mayor also discussed procurement of Starcomm Radios for the Kewanee Fire Department and the City of Kewanee renewing MABAS, a mutual assistance agreement between cities regarding First Responder access. MABAS ensures that First Responders from surrounding cities can be called upon as needed for mutual aid during a serious fire or natural disaster. Mayor Gary Moore was our guest on Wake Up Tri-Counties.
