RaeAnn Tucker from the Henry and Stark County Health Department joined Wake Up Tri-Counties to talk about the Environmental Services Department. It’s summer and festivals are all over Henry and Stark County. The Health Department is reminding vendors to make sure they contact the Health Department for licensing and inspections at least 4 days before a planned event where food is set to be sold to the public. RaeAnn Tucker stated that as much as this is meant to protect the public, and that is the main goal, these licensing and inspections are also a benefit to businesses to help make sure they are fully aware of the regulations that they need to meet to be a public food seller.
