There has been an increase in the number of reported COVID-19 cases in the Henry and Stark County area recently and the Henry and Stark County Healthy Department is monitoring the numbers. That said, there are no new mandates coming. RaeAnn Tucker with the Henry and Stark County Health Department tells WKEI that they want people to be aware of the uptick in cases so that they can make informed decisions on their own. It’s recommended that people with immune deficiencies take extra precautions if they plan to be out in large groups of people but there is no mask mandate. Meanwhile, Flu season is around the corner and the Henry and Stark County Health Department will be announcing drive thru Flu Shot Clinics in the next few weeks.
