The Wanee Cinemas will be closed this Saturday as family and friends of Bud Johnson gather to lay Bud to rest. Visitation for Bud Johnson, Kewanee Citizen of the Year and owner of the Wanee Cinemas will be Friday evening from 5 PM to 8 PM at Golnick Schueneman Funeral Home. The funeral for Bud Johnson will then take place on Saturday, at 10 AM at the funeral home with burial to follow at the Mount Olivet Cemetery. Military Rites for Bud Johnson, in honor of his service in the United States Navy Reserve, will be accorded by the Kewanee Veterans Council.
