Wethersfield Homecoming Week Kicks Off October 2nd. Students Raising Money for Chris Woods Now.


Wethersfield High School is getting ready for Homecoming week by raising money for Chris Woods.  Chris Woods is the Resource Office at Wethersfield and is battling cancer.  Chris Woods recently finished 30 radiation treatments and started chemotherapy treatments.  Mr. Phelps has agreed to shave his head if a minimum of $500 in donations are received before the kickoff ceremony on Monday.  Homecoming week at Wethersfield High School starts with a Kickoff Assembly from 1 PM to 2:30 PM on Monday, October 2, 2023.  Skit night starts at 7 PM on October 5th in the High School Gym followed by the crowing of the King and Queen and an introduction to the Wethersfield Homecoming Court.   The Homecoming Parade starts at 1:15 on Friday.  The pre-game Court Announcements begin at 6:15 Friday night followed by the Homecoming game at 7 PM.  The Homecoming game will be live on Hog Country Facebook page and on 102.5 FM.  The Homecoming dance is in the High School Gym from 8 PM to 11 PM on Saturday.  Check out the schedule below for costumes for “A Nightmare on Willard Street” during Homecoming week.  Clash of the Classes begins on Monday and the winner gets a trophy and a pizza party.
