The Henry County Farm Bureau Women & the Henry County Farm Bureau Health & Safety Committee present “Sow Hope Grow Hope” presented by Adrienne DeSutter, an Ag Mental Health Specialist.  The special program is on January 26, 2023, at 6 PM at the Henry County Farm Bureau, located at 128 N. Prospect Street, Cambridge.  A light meal will be served during the program.  To RSVP to the event, either email [email protected] or call 309-937-2411

Whether you’re running the equipment, running the house, or a little bit of both, women play a powerful role in agriculture. Adrienne’s message reminds you that your growth is greatest when YOU are holding the measuring stick. And when you hit your peaks, so does everyone around you.

Adrienne is part of her husband’s fourth generation farm family in Knox County, Illinois.  They farm corn and soybeans, wich a small herd of cattle and a small herd of children.  With a Master’s Degree in Counseling (and a self-proclaimed Master of Farm Family Choas), Adrienne recognized a need for mental health advocacy in agriculture, and began partnering with ag businesses and organizations to promote healthy minds and prevent farmer suicide.  In addition to public speaking, she helps create and connect valuable ag mental health resources, writes wellness articles and has been featured in articles, podcasts and initiatives across the globe.
