Update: All lanes of I-80 between Highway 40 and Annawan are closed for the accident. The interstate os expected to be closed for an extended time.
A work zone crash closed the only open eastbound lane around mile post 44, which is between Annawan and Highway 40 on Bureau County. Eastbound traffic on Interstate 80 is rerouted onto Highway 6 between Annawan and Highway 40.
